From the Editor — The Invitation

An invitation,
not a ticket.

Camp Tralee is a residential retreat for forty senior ecommerce and retail operators — three days at Ballygarry Estate, on the Atlantic edge of Tralee. No panels. No lanyards. No pitches. The conversation the conference cycle stopped having a decade ago.

You don't buy your way in. Guests of the shows earn their seat. Sit down for one recording — The Struggle Bus or The Ostrich Report — and you've started the conversation that becomes a place at the long table.

The publications are not the marketing. The publications are the room before the room.

Two things are asked of you. That's the whole toll.

30′
A pre-show call
Thirty minutes to find your angle and make sure we ask you something worth answering.
30′
A recording
Thirty minutes on the mic. Off-script, no homework — the conversation you'd have at the bar.
The Score — Three Movements

Heart. Head. Body.

Everything at Camp moves through three macro pillars — the spine of the work. The topics shift to meet the year; the structure does not. Tell us where you sit and we'll point you at the right table.

Movement I · The Room

Heart

Adagio. Slow. Honest.

The relationships, the silence, the conversations that only happen after the recording stops.

Movement II · The Work

Head

Allegro con brio. Sharp.

The thinking, the macro read, the topics of the moment — debated honestly and taken home as your own.

Movement III · The Place

Body

Andante. Walking pace.

The Atlantic, the Kerry Camino, the food, the rest. Kerry as the room itself — never the backdrop.

The Voices — Two Publications

Pick your seat.

You can ride either show — and either one earns the passport. No idea which? We'll match you to the right one.

Podcast · The Struggle Bus

The Struggle Bus

The human side of commerce.

Senior operators, off-script, with one question they never see coming — the bit their LinkedIn headline leaves out. What happens when the cameras are off and the stock is stuck in customs.

The Ostrich Report

Where ecommerce sticks its head in the sand so you don't have to.

Long-form marketplace analysis with Hendrik Laubscher. Two nerds, one mic, the global marketplace economy — the structural read, not the press release.
